Will the LemoTV app work on my device?
The Lemo TV app is an Android APK, so it installs only on Android-based systems. If your device isn’t one of them, you can still use LemoTV with a compatible player app. Ask support which one.
This works on Fire TV devices that run Fire OS, which covers most Firesticks, Fire TV Cubes and Fire TV smart TVs. To check yours, go to Settings › My Fire TV › About. If it says Vega OS, the APK won’t install.

Install Downloader
From the Fire TV home screen, open Find › Search, type “Downloader” and install the orange Downloader app by AFTVnews. It’s free.

Allow Downloader to install apps
Go to Settings › My Fire TV › Developer Options › Install unknown apps and switch Downloader to ON.
Don’t see Developer Options? Open Settings › My Fire TV › About and select your device name seven times until it says you’re a developer.

Enter the LemoTV code: 1572987
Open Downloader, allow access to files if it asks, then type 1572987 in the URL box and select Go. Downloader shows where the link leads before it starts.

Install the Lemo TV APK
The LEMO TV.apk file downloads (about 107 MB). When the installer opens, select Install, then Done.
Back in Downloader, choose Delete to remove the installer file and free up storage. The app stays installed.

Open LemoTV and log in
Hold the Home button, choose Apps and open LEMO TV. Enter the login details from your activation message exactly as written. To keep the app on your home screen, press the menu button on its icon and choose Move.

Install Downloader from Google Play
Search the Play Store on your TV for “Downloader” by AFTVnews and install it.

Allow unknown sources for Downloader
Open Settings › Apps › Security & restrictions › Unknown sources and switch Downloader on.
If you don’t see that option, open Settings › System › About and select “Android TV OS build” seven times, then try again.

Enter 1572987 and install
In Downloader, type 1572987, select Go, then Install when the installer opens. Open LEMO TV from your apps and log in.

Tap the downloaded file. If Android warns about unknown apps, allow your browser to install apps for this one install, then tap Install.

LEMOTV APP NOT WORKING?
Fix the most common LemoTV app problems
Most install and login problems come down to one setting, one typo or a half-finished download. Find your symptom below before you reinstall anything.
The code doesn’t download anything
Check that the Fire TV is online, then re-type 1572987 with no spaces. If Downloader says the address can’t be reached, restart the device and try again before contacting support.
“App not installed” or “There was a problem parsing the package”
Usually the download didn’t finish or storage is full. Delete the file, free up a few hundred MB and download again. If it still fails, your device may not support the app, so send support your model and OS version.
The Install button does nothing
Unknown apps are still turned off for Downloader. Go back to Developer Options › Install unknown apps (or Unknown sources on Google TV) and switch Downloader on.
The LemoTV login doesn’t work on Firestick
Re-enter the details from your activation message and watch for capital letters and look-alike characters such as O and 0. Check that your subscription is active, then message support with a photo of the error.
The app opens but channels buffer or freeze
Try another channel first. If they all buffer, restart the router and the Fire TV and test with fewer devices online.

Can I get the Lemo TV app on iPhone or Apple TV?
There’s no LemoTV APK for iPhone, iPad or Apple TV, because APK files only run on Android-based systems. Ask LemoTV support which App Store player works with your LemoTV login.
Does the LemoTV app work on Roku or Samsung TVs?
No. Roku, Samsung (Tizen) and LG (webOS) TVs can’t install Android APKs. Plug in a Fire TV or Google TV streaming stick, or ask support whether a player in your TV’s own store works with your login.
How do I update the LemoTV app?
Enter 1572987 in Downloader again and install over the existing app. This usually keeps your login, but have your details handy. If the update says “App not installed”, uninstall the old version first, then install again.
Why won’t the Lemo TV APK install on my Fire TV Stick 4K Select?
The Fire TV Stick 4K Select runs Vega OS, which can’t install Android APK files. Send LemoTV support your model to ask about another option, or use a Fire OS or Google TV device.
